APO Tarlac AA 149 had just recently concluded a community service “Literacy and NutritionProgram” dubbed as “Wastong paglinis ng Ngipin kay Ganda” at APO DayCare Center, Brgy. Sta Maria , Tarlac City dated September 29, 2008, by giving them personal hygiene kit and taught them the proper tooth brushing and gave them nutritious food. A twinning projects of APO Alumni Association of Montreal Canada and APO Alumni Association of San Diego California.

History
The foundation of a true and genuine APO ALUMNI ASSOCIATION in the province of Tarlac to take roots more than ten years when APO brother and sisters decided to continuously pursue the goals of the organization: LEADERSHIP, FRIENDSHIP and SERVICE to the people of the province of Tarlac.
It is in this context that Tarlac APO alumni members continue to render services, not only to the fraternity but to the community as well.
Than plans and programs of the alumni association are fully supported by the members special mention is due to Bro. Alfredo D. Reyes, XI Chapter, batch 63,of his constant moral support.
Among the program accomplishments are the DSWD feeding program, Blood Letting Campaign, Gift-Giving Program at the Tarlac Provincial Hospital, Oxygen Belt Tree Planting Project, Medical and Dental Mission, Motorists assistance, to name a few.
On the 15th day of January 2002, the first meeting was held at Highway Restaurant, Tarlac City and on the name date, the set of officers was elected.
It was agreed upon during the meeting that the APO TARLAC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION be adopted as its official name and with postal address at Tarlac City.
On 28th of May2003, during the 23rd Biennial Convention, held at Surigao City, the NEB approved and recognized APO Tarlac Alumni Association and given its Charter No. 149.
On 15th day of March 2008, during the simultaneous “Blood Letting Donation” at the Philippine National Red Cross Tarlac, in memory of the 105th birthday of our late Bro. LIBRADO”BADO” URETA, founder APO Philippines, the first APO TARLAC ALMUNI ASSOCIATION CHAPTER 149 official seal was created thru the concept and design of Bro. Christopher “BIMBO” Tayag, Zeta Delta Chapter, batch 97.
Finally, the APO TARLAC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CHAPTER 149 in the Province of Tarlac came to be.
